Kitty Kelley will be discussing Let Freedom Ring at 7 p.m. at the William G. McGowan Theater of the National Archives in Washington D.C. with Marian Wright Edelman of the Children’s Defense Fund and journalist Soledad O’Brien. A book signing will follow the program. Admission is free. Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. The doors to the building will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the program. Some of Stanley Tretick’s photos of the March on Washington, including some from Let Freedom Ring, are included in the Library of Congress exhibit A Day Like No Other, on the ground floor of the Thomas Jefferson Building, on First Street SE, between Independence Avenue and East Capitol Street, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Saturday.

Stanley Tretick’s photos from Let Freedom Ring will feature at the US Capitol during a House of Representatives Speaker’s event at 3 p.m. at Statuary Hall commemorating the March on Washington. Rep. John Lewis will speak. The event is organized by the Faith and Politics Institute.
